You can delete your Medevo account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it — from inside the app, or by emailing us if you no longer have the app installed.
Open Medevo → Profile → Settings → Delete my account, then confirm.
Deletion is scheduled 30 days out. During that window you can cancel it simply by signing back in — nothing is removed until the 30 days elapse. This grace period exists so an accidental or impulsive deletion is recoverable.
Email medevo.iq@gmail.com from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you registered with, and ask us to delete your account.
We verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it — this protects you from someone else deleting your account. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days of receiving them.
Applications you previously sent to an employer are anonymized rather than erased — the employer keeps a record that an application was received and what stage it reached, but it is no longer linked to you. This preserves the other party's audit trail of their own hiring process.
We may also retain records we are legally required to keep, and moderation reports relating to content that was reported, in a form not linked to your profile.
Aggregate, non-identifying analytics (for example a count of how many ads were viewed on a given day) are not tied to your identity and are unaffected.
If you only want to remove specific content rather than your whole account, you can delete individual job ads and marketplace listings from Profile → My Postings, and clear your CV from the CV maker — without deleting your account.
